Astesh

Brief description of Astesh:

Astesh began as neutral land shortly following Utrean and Adrian independence, as agreed between the Kingdom of Adria (now the Escuan Union), and the Republic of Utrea (now the Utrean Empire). Near the end of October 2021, it was agreed that the Republic of Utrea may establish a territory with the name Astesh, in a small area of the neutral land, where they had a storage unit at the time. Around the later part of December 2021, the Utrean Empire agreed with Adria that Astesh would be fully controlled by Utrea, as a colony.

The exact date of when Astesh was upgraded to a Province is currently unknown, but is expected to have occured sometime following December 2021, but before July 2022.

Astesh had several changes to its borders, size, and status since Utrean independence, but has had no major changes since around 2022, when the first city, Telza city, was founded by the then-Premier of Astesh, and became the Capital City of the Province of Astesh.

In April, 2024, Utrea's National Parliament passed legislation (Bill A-329), establishing a second city within the Province of Astesh, with the name Ciudad del Coco (Coconut City).
